So my first place to be is Ipoh Railway station nice .Let me show you the Ipoh Railway Station. Here’s how it looks like from the front.
The landscaped garden in front of the Railway Station accentuates its sense of grandeur.
Nicknamed the Taj Mahal of Ipoh, the railway station was designed by A.B Hubback, one of the most prominent architects during the British colonial rule. It opened in 1935, making it the second concrete station to be constructed in town.
If you have seen the old railway station in Kuala Lumpur, they resemble each other in architecture since they were designed by the same architect. Cool right ?
That me XP |
This building is about 90 years old(WOW)!. It has three platforms, commodious offices, a hotel and a restaurant.
The design is classical architecture, harnessed to the British "Raj" style, surmounted by "Moorish" domes and turrets.
90 years old building will it fall ??? |
The railway station has just undergone an expansion and renovation, getting ready for the Ipoh-Kuala Lumpur commuter service. Thus, it is presenting a combination of modern and historical design now, which is marvelous!
It's really a good spot for photo taking.=)
u can see how hardworking is my friend taking the photo =)
PLZ note there a guys taking photograph on the picture =)that my friend CKC

Come the later hours of the day, what if you’re craving for something sweet (and savoury to some extent)? No worries, the ever present, ever crowded Tong Sui Kai (Dessert Street) is conveniently opened for business, catering to the late night crowd, or hungry souls wandering after a perfect night out.

Recently went for a satisfying bowl of honeydew with sago
(蜜瓜西米露) with KarChun at Tong Sui Kai, I rediscovered youth (so to speak), with memories from the yesteryear’s flooding over me.
Order a Dai Lok Mee for myself =) |
Since the opening of various cafes, bistros, and kopitiams, outings with friends were never the same again. Sacrificing varieties and taste for comfort, we found ourselves time and again falling for the same tricks (or bane of good food), patronizing those franchised outlets that promise free Wifi, air-conditioning, and mediocre food at inflated prices. And in return, forsaken the simpler, pedestrian level of stalls that have been gracing the amazing Ipoh Street Food scene since day one.
One big family ...said cheese ~~~ |
Well, MY day one on this planet of course, not necessarily yours. I’m an 90′s baby, so there. Yeah, I’m Jurassic, but damn proud of it …….. Bite me? XP
