Oh my god. I have been away for so long. Don’t know why lately have been so lazy on the blogging job. Always slacking in my comfy hostel room or just hang out around the university. Life here is kinda fun, but I do miss home occasionally.
I haven’t been online like I do so consistence at home last time because Internet at my hostel is still not ready yet, I am on the DiGi 3G Broadband and it always DC and another thing is I can’t online because of the capped and saving electricity bill. Somemore, I have homework and assignment already, don’t have many time to spend in front of the computer like before during the holidays. >.< Now I know why my friend seldom online when they went to college. Haha
Taylor’s University College had an orientation for March intake students 2 weeks ago. It’s for everyone that’s studying in Lakeside Campus and basically there’s many courses available at the Lakeside Campus except Pre-U studies. The reason I pick this university is because it’s new and beautiful. =D I like studying in a place that look like a school than an office building.here some photo i would like to share with all ,since i living in a hostel .I taken some photo using my DSLR:).as i call it look beautiful at night =)
the concert hall at night which no one will go during the day |
this is the photo that i like the most =) |

Here my campus nice right ? |
During the day this plant look normal but at night it look awesome |
Let talk about the orentation day .I taken some photo i would like to share with u guys .
It’s not really start of school yet but it’s an orientation to let you know what’s around the school and I was pretty excited for it because get to meet new people and back to school after the long 3 months holiday of mine. A little bit nervous also, because I knew no one at there. I have no friend of my age from Ipoh with me at there. Though I did meet people afterall.
There’s like thousands of student. Mass communication have the longest queue which I think they have many students as for me in mass communication, there’s not super many but at least there still around 66 students in my course. At least it’s not less than 10. Haha.
t’s the boring talk about what the school have, what are the dos and don’ts, welcoming speech and blablabla. Didn’t really enjoy it as I was like keeping my hands busy on the phone. One thing, the hall was so damn cold and we spent like 3 hours in the hall. Hungry in the morning!
campus tour
this is the places where i waited for my orentation t-shirt for one hours.
Phototaking section
After all the talk have done, it’s the admin work already. I have to go to collect stuff like t-shirt and take photos for student ID. The queue for this stuff was like so long and we have to wait for like an hour to get me in front of the line.
hope i look handsome in this phototaking =) |
After a long whole day orentation i return to my hostel for some sweet dream .During the night i go to SS15 ,which is the nearest to explore what other college like Inti , Sunway student call it as a "TT(TEH TARIK)
places for us to hang along and chit-chat .There was a lot of thing and food to eat there. There was a shop name snow flake which is essentially, for premium shaved ice with grass jelly (cincau), a little syrup, some chewy beads of taroballs and an optional cup of creamer for good measure. Simple, faultless combination that cost double of your usual bowl of cincau from hawker stalls. But look at how Snowflake Taiwanese Dessert Secrets
Kindly allow me to shut that motormouth for a day and start the week on a breezy note. Thursday practically flew by, and to no surprise, the caffeine addiction kicked in more often than not. No thanks to that instant coffee machine in the pantry. I’m poisoned. Is there even a Caffeine Addicts Anonymous group?
The crowd were all barely of puberty age yet. Okay … maybe slightly exaggerated.
And thus, here’s a short one on possibly the next up and coming desserts chain that will take off; much like how KTZ created such a buzz back then.
Then there were the Honeymoon lah …. Lucky lah …. Hong Kong lah …. Tim Pun Gor Gor (don’t ask) lah …. and whatever gimmicks they can come up with.
Sadly, no designated kiosk/cafe for authentic Malaysian desserts huh? Like pengat pisang, nyonya kuih, red bean soup, Indian sweetmeats, etc. But for now, let’s look at how Snowflake has changed the palate of the younger generations like me .Nice Jobs!!THUMB UP...
A novel ordering system; first time seeing something similar to this. I am from kampung, okay?! So you just walk over to the counter, pay up and take one of this funky apparatus back to your table. When it lights up and erm, vibrate (don’t go there. ..), you collect your desserts.
Credits to be given where they’re due, the bowls of desserts at Snowflake do come in larger portion; and substantial enough to be shared if you’re not one who’s born with a sweet tooth.I can’t vouch for the authenticity of their supposedly Taiwanese desserts, since I have never been to Taiwan myself. (Pathetic right?) But if you long for something different from the generic Mango Lolo, or Tau Fu Fah, then maybe Snowflake’s the place for you. Just don’t expect peace and serenity ……Remember to call me along if u guys going to have a bite in the shop i willing to go again in the future =)
